It is a pleasure to introduce ourselves to you and tell you a little about who we are. The Church of Christ at Hamilton Crossroads is group of people who want to be New Testament Christians only. We desire to be a caring committed church that honors Jesus Christ in word and deed (Colossians 3:17) and serves our community (Acts 2:46-47).
With God’s help we are trying to be:
A CHRIST CENTERED CHURCH
Proclaiming His Lordship, His Love, His death for us, His resurrection from the grave, His return in glory and His all-sufficiency for our daily lives.
A BIBLE CHURCH
Believing in the inspiration and absolute authority of the Scriptures. The Bible is our guide in knowing God, in doing His will, and living life as He intended.
A CARING CHURCH
Serving others in mutual love, encouragements and ministry; Supporting families, youth, the elderly, the needing and striving to show the compassion of Christ.
A PRAYING CHURCH
Praising God through meaningful worship; encouraging and supporting each other in prayer and supplication; trusting in God’s power and plan
The church of Christ at Hamilton Crossroads offers you an opportunity to meet and worship with your friends and neighbors. You will find that we are not un-like many churches in someways. However, you will find that we are different in that a strict formality is absent. Our worship services include:
A CAPELLA SINGING
Singing without instruments of music (Ephesians 5:19-20)
PRAYERS OFFERED TO GOD
Prayers offered by members and not clergy (Philippians 4:6)
LORD'S SUPPER
Communion is observed each week on the first day of the week in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins (Acts 20:7)
GIVING
The Bible commands us to give back to God as we have been prospered and as each has determined in his heart (1st Corinthians 16:1-2)
PREACHING AND TEACHING
Just as the early church devoted themselves to the teaching of Christ and His apostles we do the same (Acts 2:42)
